- (2) 'Ali Ahmad Khan. He had issue, a daughter:
- (a) Amina Begum. m. H.E. Payinda Muhammad Khan Farhad (b. 1887), sometime Governor of Ghazni and Kandahar, son of General H.E. Sardar 'Abdu'l Quddus Khan, Itimad ud-Daula, sometime Prime Minister, by his second wife, Shaista Begum, daughter of 'Abdu'l Qayyum Khan. She had issue, one daughter - see Afghanistan (Etemadi).
- j) Sardar Gul Muhammad Khan (s/o the Ishaqzai lady). He had issue, two sons:
- i) Nazar Muhammad Khan.
- ii) Khwaja Muhammad Khan.
- a) Murwarid Begum [Bibi Ko]. m. Sardar Haji Ghulam Muhammad Khan (b. at Kandahar, 30th April 1830; d. at Damascus, 8th December 1900), third son of her uncle, H.E. Sardar Rahim Dil Khan, sometime Governor of Baluchistan, by his wife, Hawa Begum, daughter of Sardar Rahim Dad Khan, Sultan Muhammad Barakzai. She had issue - see Afghanistan (Tarzi).
- b) A daughter. m. Sardar Muhammad Alam Khan (k. by bandits while returning to Persia, 1857), second son of H.E. Sardar Rahim Dil Khan, sometime Governor of Sindh and Baluchistan, by his wife, Hawa Begum, daughter of Sardar Rahim Dad Khan, Sultan Muhammad Barakzai. She had issue, four sons - see above.
- c) A daughter. m. H.E. Sardar Muhammad Sharif Khan (b. 1827; d. at Baghdad, August 1883), sometime Governor of Bamiyan, Tashkurgan, Farah and Kandahar, son of H.H. Amir al-Mumenin, Amir-i-Kabir, Amir Dost Muhammad Khan, Amir of Afghanistan, by his wife, Khadija Begum, daughter of Haji Rahmatu'llah Khan, of the Popalzai clan. She had issue - see Afghanistan (Sharif).
