- 1598 - 1627 Amir-i-Afghan ‘Asadu’llah [Sado] Khan [Malik Saddu], Governor of Safa and Chief of the Alus Abdali. b. at Kandahar, 11th October 1558 n.s., son of ‘Umar [Malik Saleh], by his wife and cousin. Succeeded his father as chief of the tribe, the Alus Habibzai. United the Afghan tribes and took control of Safa and became Chief of the Alus Abdali, 26th July 1598. Assisted Emperor Jahangir in taking Kandahar from the Safavids, and was recognised as Amir-i-Afghan (cdr. of the Afghan forces) in 1622. Governor of Kandahar 1622-1626. He d. 18th March 1627. He had issue, five sons (ancestor of the Sadozai clan):

- 3a. Wazirzada Muhammad Ayub Khan. b. 1929. Electrical Engineer, by profession. He joined the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) early on and was one of the founding members of a major public sector consultancy group; The National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK). Through his dilgence he rose to the level of Member Power. He d. 1991.
- 4a. Wazirzada Muhammad Idrees Khan. Electrical Engineer, joined the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA)and gained valuable experience. He established a successful business delivering high value infrastructural projects. Mbr Managing Cttee Fed of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry 1987-1988, (Presdt 1986-1989), Vice-Chancellor Gomal Univ 2003.
