- 6) Hamida Begum. b. June 1920 (d/o Khairiya). m. 1954, as his first wife (div. 1956), ‘Abdu’llah Habib Khan Tarzi, LVO, eldest son of H.E. Habibu’llah Khan Tarzi, sometime Ambassador to the USA, by his wife, Shaira Begum, second daughter of Naib Habibu’llah Beg Tarzi. She had issue, one son - see Afghanistan (Tarzi).
- 7) Latifa Begum [Latifa Jan]. b. 17th January 1923 (d/o Khairiya). Became the first female radio announcer in Afghanistan 1947. m. 20th June 1949, ‘Abdu’l Kabir Khan Siraj (b. 10th August 1925), third son of H.R.H Sardar Muhammad Kabir Khan [Kabir Jan], by his first wife, Samia Begum, eldest daughter of Naib Habibu’llah Beg Tarzi. She had issue, five sons and two daughters - see above.
- 8) Anissa Begum. b. 1924 (d/o Khairiya). m. 1948, as his second wife, H.E. Dr ‘Abdu’llah Khan Malikyar (b. at Ghazni, 1908; d. at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, Maryland, USA, 4th August 2002, bur. Virginia), educ. Ghazni Elementary Sch, Aminya High Sch, Kabul, Dir Hilmand Valley Authroity, Governor of Herat 1941-1948 & 1951-1954, Minister for Communications 1948, Commerce 1956-1957, and Finance 1957-1961, First Deputy Prime Minister, Ambassador at the Court of St James’s, to the USA 1967-1977, and to Iran 1977-1979, settled in the USA 1979, Hon LLD (Univ. of Nebraska 1975). She had issue, four sons and two daughters:
